Year 2000 Compliance

If your computer handles dates after 1999 correctly, then our software will print the correct date as well. Our software runs on Macintosh and Windows computers. It uses the date only when printing the results page. It takes the date from the date stored in the computer's operating system.

Macintosh computers do not have a problem with dates to 2032. Computers running OS 7 or greater can handle dates until A.D. 65000.

Windows computers may need to have the BIOS updated to be Y2K compliant. Software patches are available from some vendors. Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 are not Y2K compliant. Articles in computer magazines have stated that Windows 98 is Y2K compliant , provided that the BIOS is compliant. Once you have updated your PC, our software will read the date correctly. Even if you do not update your PC, our software will run fine, but the date may print incorrectly.
